This festival was definitely one for the books. Our hotel stay included cameos from Method man and Redman (they were blasting hip hop out of their airport shuttle outside the hotel and smoking what I'll simply refer to as not cigarettes) and Dandy Warhols (who also were coincidentally lounging in the lobby at the same time that Meth and Red were outside). Monique also encountered Nathan Jr. in the elevator (M.Ward member and native Portlander) as well as a member from health. Unfortunately for me I found lying in bed and watching project runway much more worthwhile. The festival was held at Red Rock and they knew how to treat lucky bums with passes right! So much free booze and food we almost forgot it was a music festival. Indeed it was a memory worth documenting. Unfortunately all I had was my video camera and Iphone.

This was the only band I saw and remember playing the Parson Redheads
Chromeo played too but I was too busy working to get a shot.
This was my first highlight of the festival Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros:)
